Communion Service - Sunday 1st August 2021 led by Revd. Malcolm Bull

Theme: Our Daily Bread

Please join us at our Communion Service on Sunday 1st August at the new time of 10.30am for a one-hour service.  The service will be led by the Revd. Malcolm Bull and will include the Sacrament of Holy communion. The communion elements will be sealed and left on the chairs before the service.  

We will continue to keep our distance, sanitise and wear masks on entering the church by the main hall doors. Once seated you may remove your mask, but please replace your mask when standing to sing and when leaving the church by the front church doors.

You do not have to book as there are more chairs in the church now, but please feel free to sit distancing yourselves from others.  

Notices: 
  • Please join us for our Songs of Praise service which is being held in our church car park on 1st August at 3.00pm. 
  • Please take a "sunshine bag"as you leave the church on Sunday and when the sun shines, pop some small change into the bag. Worship Service - Sunday 25th July 2021

Theme - Heaven Part 3

Please join us at our Worship Service on Sunday 25th July at the South Hayling United Reformed Church, Hollow Lane at the new time of 10.30am for a one-hour service. The service will be led by the Revd. Peter Norris.

Social distancing and sanitising on entering the church by the main hall, remains the same and you will be asked to wear your face coverings or masks until you are seated.

You will be permitted to stand and sing with masks on during the hymns, which can then be removed when seated. Please replace your masks when leaving the church by the front church doors, as before.

There are more chairs in the church for Sunday, but please feel free to sit, distancing yourself from others.

Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you all.

Sunday's URC service takes place in the middle of this year's URC General Assembly. As such, it will be led by The Revd. Clare Downing, one of the Moderators of General Assembly, prepared with The Revd. Helen Everard, chaplain to the Moderators.

Following the government's announcement this week, the final stage of easing lockdown restrictions in England is to be delayed until 19 July in order to boost the numbers of those vaccinated.  Therefore, until this time we will continue as we are now, with two x half hour services at 10.30am and 11.30am on a Sunday, 2m distancing, hand sanitising, the wearing of masks and sadly still no singing!
