Hayling United Reformed Church

Our Church is committed to supporting and working with the local community in a number of ways. We put emphasis on developing connections and ensuring that we focus on the right way to increase our support and expand what we can do.

THE LINK is the main foyer of the Church. Completed in 2008 it finalised the expansion of the Church building, adding to our two halls, and connecting them with the Church building. The link is our opening to the community and is open  on a Wednesday morning where you will find Church members always ready for a chat over a cuppa.

CHURCHES TOGETHER We are closely linked to the other Churches on Hayling Island through Churches Together. This means working towards an ecumenical common goal, and working to support all people on the island. Messy Church (First Thursday of each month - flyer here) as an example of Hayling Churches Together working in this way. More information can be found on the Churches Together web site here

Vision4life is a process which the United Reformed Church is following for 3 years from Advent 2008 through to Advent 2011, looking at Prayer, the Bible and evangelism. We have recently been looking at how our Church looks to people on the outside, and how we can let others know who we are. The Vision4life web site is available here
