Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world. By requiring companies to pay sustainable prices (which must never fall lower than the market price), Fairtrade addresses the injustices of conventional trade, which traditionally discriminates against the poorest, weakest producers. It enables

We support this organisation with regular sales of Fairtrade products after our services (details can be found on the diary page) and by serving only Fairtrade products at any events. We are also commited to raising awareness of Fairtrade so please take some time to look at their web site

Christian aid is a charity organisation that aims to support disaster struck areas globally. We support Christian aid throughout the year, but particularly focus on Christian Aid Week with envelope drops for door to door collections, plus events aimed at raising money.
