Alpha Course

Over 8 million people have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith.

THE ALPHA COURSE

Explore the meaning of life

Alpha is a chance to ask the questions you have always wanted to ask. It is relaxed, non-threatening, low-key, friendly, fun and is supported by all the main Christian denominations.

Why not take this opportunity to explore the meaning of life?

What is it?

Morning Coffee/Cakes or Evening Supper

There is a bite to eat together at the beginning of each session which gives people a chance to get to know each other.

Talk

The talks deal with Christian topics such as, 'Who is Jesus' and  'How does God guide us?'. They provide facts and information which can be explored further in small groups.

Small groups

After each talk (Video/DVD) we divide into small groups to discuss the topic of the evening, ask questions and express opinions.

Listen, learn, discuss and discover.  And ask anything, Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

Who is it for?

Alpha is for everyone, especially:

    • Those wanting to investigate Christianity
    • New Christians
    • Existing churchgoers
    • Newcomers to the Church
    • Those who want to brush up on the basics

How much?

There is no charge for the Alpha course
